for proprietor Diane O’Brien. It represents the shop she always wanted
to visit but which always seemed so difficult to find.
The shop is most definitely customer focused - there is
no pressure on customers to buy but advice remains freely available if
required. Stock levels are impressive as is the quality of the Brands
provided. There is a strong possibility that the item you require will
be in stock in contrast to the usual norm where everything else is in
stock except that one item you are searching for.
The
staff provides a willing and friendly service to customers. Located away
from crowded high streets the atmosphere in the shop is relaxed,
friendly, inviting and professional.
Proprietors, Diane & Michael O’Brien has many years experience in
management, administration and retail. This background has been an ideal
foundation and platform for setting up Cook In Thyme. It took two years
to find the right location, one which provided the desired balance of
convenience, ease of access and a stimulating environment.
At the
conceptual stage it was decided that the key objective for the business
was to provide a good quality range of kitchenware and tableware at
reasonable prices supported by excellent customer service.
